Craig William Peterson, 61, of Fairview, NJ, passed on Sunday, November 5, 2017. Born in Teaneck, NJ, on October 20, 1956 to the late Gustave T. Peterson and Lorraine M. Peterson (nee Powers). Loving husband of Cathy Peterson (nee Genaro). Cherished father of Anthony Peterson, his wife Paulina, of Alexandria, VA. Dear brother of Debbie Buttacavole, her husband James, of Ridgefield Park, NJ, and caring uncle of Daniel Buttacavole. Craig was a Fairview Volunteer Firefighter for 42 years and was Chief in 1989 & 2005; worked for the Bergen County Utilities Association for 28 years, and was a member and a former Commander of the American Legion Post #365. Funeral from McCorry Brothers, 780 Anderson Ave., Cliffside Park, NJ, on Thursday November 9, 2017 at 8:30AM. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace R.C. Church, Fairview, NJ, at 9:30 AM. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, NJ. Visiting hours on Wednesday, from 2-4 &7-9 PM. For information and directions, please visit www.mccorrybrothers.com.
