Joseph A. Andreaccio – St. Petersburg, FL. formerly of Palisades Park NJ passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2018.

Uncle Joe was born in 1921 in the Marion section of Jersey City, and graduated from Dickinson High School. He was married to his loving wife Millie for 67 years. Joe was a member the UNICO of Hudson County, Moose of Hudson County, President of the Holy Name Society of St. Nicholas Church of Palisades Park, and a proud Army veteran of World War II where he fought in the Battle of Guam. He worked for Evan-Piccone Sportswear in North Bergen and was a member of ILGWU where his specialty was pressing and dry cleaning.

Joe and Millie lived in Palisades Park for 32 years before retiring to St. Petersburg, FL where he worked for Publix for another 20 years. Uncle Joe loved his bowling, and could be found every week at Nunguesser’s Lanes. To his teammates he was known as “Little Moose.” To his friends he was known as “Bova.”

Joe was predeceased by his loving wife Millie (nee Bottone), his sisters Dolly Sansone, Theresa “Chubby” Bozza, and his brother Anthony “Beanie” Andreaccio. He is survived by his sister-in-law Nancy Marzolla Tedeschi, and his nieces and nephews, Gary A. Marzolla, Anthony R. Marzolla Jr., John Sanzone, James Sansone, Frank Sansone, Rocco Sansone, Joanne Caputo, Theresa Hicks, Anthony Bozza, James Bozza, and Roseanne Bozza.

Funeral Mass to be celebrated at Madonna Church (in The Cemetery), Fort Lee, at 11:00 AM.  Interment to follow at Madonna Mausoleum, Fort Lee, NJ.  For information, please visit www.mccorrybrothers.com.
