Obituary of Patricia Marie Massaro

MASSARO - Patricia Marie (nee Rago), 78, passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2011. Born in Jersey City, on May 11, 1932, she grew up in Moonachie and Teaneck, and lived in Montville for 53 years. She graduated from Teaneck High School in 1949 and attended Paine Hall in New York City. A loving wife and mother, Patricia was a dedicated housewife and later in life, worked as a home health care provider who took great pride in taking care of the elderly and the handicapped. She devoted her life to helping others, and was a proud parishioner of Jacksonville Chapel. Patricia also loved nature, animals, gardening, and cooking. "Mom-Mom" is survived by her spouse Raymond Massaro Sr., loving mother of Raymond Jr. and his wife Kathleen of Old Tappan, Ronald and his wife Judy of Falls Church, VA, Cheryl of Atlantic Highlands, and Randall of Montville; devoted grandmother to John, Michael, Christine, Joseph, Sammy, Kathryn, Anna, Laura, Evan, Anthony, Michelle, Samantha, and David; and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Kenneth and his wife Joan of Waldwick. Funeral from McCorry Brothers, 780 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park, NJ, on Monday, February 14, 2011, at 8:45 AM. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at Our Lady Of Grace R.C. Church, Fairview, at 9:30 AM. Entombment to follow at Fairview Mausoleum, Fairview, NJ. Visiting hours on Sunday, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
