Obituary of Domingo Miguel Angel Marte

Domingo Miguel Angel Marte - 89 of Cliffside Park, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2018.

Domingo was born in Santo Domingo, in the Dominican Republic. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Carmen Marte and his children Miguel Angel Marte, Carmen Marte, Janet Marte and Elizabeth Marte Meyer and her husband Carl. Domingo will be missed by his adoring grandchildren Karen Calcano, Benjamin and Gina Calcano, Lawrence Marte and Keegan Sourwine. Also surviving are 3 great grandchildren.

Domingo enjoyed spending days with the family, listening to classical music and dancing the tango. At 80 years old Domingo taught himself how to paint. He also was the consummate handyman, and the ultimate “sharp dressed man”.

Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St John the Baptist 239 Anderson Ave, Fairview, NJ on Wednesday Sept 12 at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Flower Hill Cemetery.  Visiting hours on Tuesday Sept 11, 2018 from 5-9 PM at McCorry Brothers Funeral Home 780 Anderson Ave, Cliffside Park, NJ.
