Obituary of Grace Siccardi

Grace Siccardi, 96, formally of Ridgefield, NJ, born in West New York to the late Joseph and Rose Cerritelli passed away peacefully in Phoenix, AZ, on January 28, 2019.

 

Grace worked as a seamstress, and wed the late Alfonse Ippolito. Living in Long Island, New York, they raised 3 strong and independent children. Later Grace enjoyed visiting her 3 grandchildren in Arizona and Oregon and of course she loved to shop. Grace met and then wed Jerry Siccardi in 1991 and lead a very active life filled with late night dancing and socializing with friends at the Elks. Grace and Jerry traveled and toured Europe for many years, had a lot of good times, and enjoyed each others company. She could be seen wearing beautiful turquoise and fine jewelry from around the world.

 

She is survived by her loving husband Jerry Siccardi, daughter Lisa Haliczer, son in law David Haliczer, daughter Andrea Rodia, son in law Bill Rodia, and grand daughter Rachel Rodia. She is preceded by her late husband Alfonse Ippolito, son Dennis Ippolito, and grandchildren Zeke Haliczer and Nicole Rodia.

Visitation will be held at McCorry Brothers, 780 Anderson Ave., Cliffside Park, NJ, on Tuesday February 5, 2019, from 10AM-12PM.  Mass at 12:30PM in Epiphany Church, 247 Knox Ave., Cliffside Park, NJ.  Burial to follow in Madonna Cemetery, Fort Lee, NJ.
