When I began playing Pickleball, Danny would be my partner even though he was a higher level than me and we laughed and had such a fun time playing while still competing. You were always such fun to chat and play with...that smile, that tan...Rest in peace Danny.

Danny, you were able to put smiles on our faces if only for a little while, so now I say to you, swing for the fences, and even if it was only for a moment I’m glad our paths crossed.

Danny was one of the nicest people you could possibly meet. I first met Danny 3 1/2 years ago playing pickle ball, and he always credited me with teaching him how to go to the net. He was such a natural athlete and became quite a good pickle ball player. Always friendly, never complaining, willing to play with anyone, Just a really nice person. It was my pleasure to be his friend.

Our deepest condolences to the family of Danny Napoli. We met Danny in August, 2017 in a park in Leonia, NJ. We wanted to play pickleball and Danny immediately took us under his wing. Being former paddleball and tennis players, along with Danny's expert advice, we progressed really quickly. He was so warm and welcoming that he even invited us to play with him and his friends in Florida when we told him we would be in the Deerfield Beach area. We will miss playing with him, hearing his welcomed advice, and seeing his amazing smile.
Sincerely,
Karen and Mark Halpern

My Name is Javier Aramboles and I was one of his students at PS106 through the late 80s and early 90s. Mr. Napoli was good to me and guided me through the right path. He always had a positive attitude, funny, caring, and understanding. I loved his jokes and story's. I learned from Mr. Napoli his two figure cuvreball telling me this is the pitch that made him successfully in collage baseball. Today I pass on the lesson to others. I will miss Mr.Napoli but I will never forget him and his lessons that were learned. Thank you for everything Mr. Napoli you always will be in my heart. My the lord be with you.

When Danny came to our games we knew we’d have some fun. He was a pretty good ball player but sometimes got into situations that made us laugh.
He could take some major ribbing with as much grace as I’ve ever seen. It never bothered him.
He disarmed the best of them with that flash of a smile.
He was a beauty. We’re really going to miss him.

I was always smiling when talking with Danny at softball here in Deerfield Beach. With his white hair and white teeth and his constant joking around everyone interacted with him. He always offered to run for other guys. He will be missed.

Pickleball is an amazing game. Not only is it a great workout, but also a social get together. When Dan would come to the court, his smile was contagious. He was kind to all but played a wicked game. The joy with which he played the game had him desired to be a partner and or a court mate. He will be missed by all. RIP Dan

I knew Danny from Pickleball in Deerfield Beach and Pompano Beach. He was one of the finest gentlemen I’ve met, always greeting everyone with a big smile, handshake or big hug, and something nice to say. And he was a great competitor and always even keeled who enjoyed the game immensely. He will be sorely missed.
