My name is Bruce Rebisz and I was an apprentice that worked with John at F&G around 1983 or 4. We worked in Princeton and on a 3 story office building in Lawranceville. On my first day working with him we met at the shop in Secaucus. On our way home the company truck broke down on the turnpike. After that John used his personal car for the next six months. He was a great foreman, worker , and teacher. He was a good man and from what I saw in the tribute , he was lucky to be surrounded by a loving family. The toughest part while working wit him was the ride home each day. Many times we would start to fall asleep during the drive. I would start to doze off but then look over and see John doing the same thing. That would scare us both. My prayers are with him and his family at this tough time.
