Louis Joseph Apa, 75, passed away peacefully at his residence in Sanford, NC, on Thursday, January 7, 2021. Loving son of the late Leonard and Teresa (nee Paine) Apa. Beloved brother of Marilyn and Fedora Jean Apa, and their families. Caring cousin of Louis Salvatore Apa and Robert Guy Apa and their families. Also survived by many relatives in Italy.
Louis was a graduate of Cliffside Park High School and a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University. He graduated from the US Army Officer Candidate School achieving the rank of Lieutenant. He worked for many years in the finance department at Magnavox. Louis was a parishioner of St. Steven’s Catholic Church, Sanford, NC.
Visitation will be held at McCorry Brothers, 780 Anderson Ave., Cliffside Park, NJ, on Wednesday January 13, 2021 from 6-8 pm. Please gather on Thursday January 14 for the celebration of Funeral Mass at the Church of The Epiphany, 247 Knox Ave., Cliffside Park, NJ, at 12 pm. Entombment will follow in Madonna Mausoleum, Fort Lee, NJ.
