Gennaro Ranu, 90, of Old Tappan, NJ, formerly of Fairview, NJ, on Saturday, January 9, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Francesca Ranu (nee Palumbino). Loving father of John Ranu, his wife Diana. Cherished grandfather of Mia & JC Ranu. Dear brother of Frank Ranu, his late wife Louise, and the late Eleanor Cennarazzo, her husband the late John Cennarazzo, Sr. Caring uncle of Krissy & RJ Hardigan and the late Joanne Hardigan and John Cennarazzo. Gennaro was a Pressor for his family's business with his brother Frank for Alcorna Coats, Jersey City, NJ. Visitation will be held at McCorry Brothers, 780 Anderson Ave., Cliffside Park, NJ, on Friday January 15 from 10:30 am-12:30 pm with a service at 12:30 with limitations of no more than 40 people at one time. Entombment to follow at Madonna Mausoleum, Fort Lee, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer's Foundation (www.alz.org) would be appreciated.
