Obituary of Anne K. Wiggins

Anne K. Wiggins (nee Gercken), 95, of Bergenfield, NJ passed away peacefully on February 24, 2021. She was born February 3, 1926 in New York, NY. On January 21, 1951, Anne married Harold M. Wiggins at St. Peters Church in New York City and in August of that same year moved to Bergenfield, NJ. She worked for many years as the secretary to the Credit Manager at Witco Chemical Co. She was a longtime member of the Ladies Auxillary, V.F.W. Post 6467 and the St. John’s Golden Age Club in Bergenfield. Anne loved spending her time with her family and friends. Beloved wife of the late Harold (2010). Cherished mother of Richard, his wife Mary, Kathleen, her husband William, Jeanne and her husband Joseph. Loving grandmother of Natalie Balon, her husband Steve, Julianne Kizhner, her husband Oskar, Scott Wiggins, his wife Rebecca, Michele Woodward, William Woodward, his wife Rachael, James Woodward, his wife Katie, Michael Poilzzano, his fiancee Ariana and Rachel Polizzano. She was also great grandmother to 6 wonderful children. Dear sister to the late Caroline Steckle. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 28, 2021 from 3-7 PM at McCorry Brothers Funeral Home, 780 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park, NJ 07010, with a limitation of no more than 50 people at one time. Services will begin at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 1, 2021 at McCorry Brothers Funeral Home with interment at Ferncliff Cemetery, 280 Secor Road, Hartsdale, New York to follow.
