DESIMONE - Sally (Sylvia) of Argyle, NY, died May 1 with her loving husband, Bruno DeSimone, by her side. The couple celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in October. Born in Fort Lee, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Sylvia E. Abbott and Clifford Metcalf. She was a graduate of Fort Lee High School and Katherine Gibbs School of Business. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed bird watching and antiques. Also surviving are two daughters, Leslie and husband Wayne, Salem, NY; Laura and husband Tony, Honesdale, PA; three grandchildren, Daniel, Dominic, and Sarah; and many sisters-in-laws and brothers-in-laws, nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be Saturday at 12 PM at Brookside Cemetery Chapel, Englewood, NJ. The family will receive friends at 11:30 until service time.
