Vivian Tarallo

(nee Kearns), 91, of Cliffside Park, NJ, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on August 7, 2019, at Villa Marie Claire hospice in Saddle River, New Jersey. The cause of death was Alzheimer's disease. Beloved wife of 56 years of Anthony E. Tarallo, who passed away in 2006. Devoted mother of Dr. Bernadette Tarallo of Davis, CA; of Vivian Chester and her husband Norm of Oradell; of Michele O'Marra and her husband Frank of Ridgewood; of Mark Tarallo of Washington, D.C.; and of the late Keith Joseph Tarallo. Cherished grandmother of Alfred and Caroline Chester and Hayley O'Marra. Beloved sister of the late Patricia Benesch (nee Kearns) and the late Gerard Kearns. She was a native of Jersey City, New Jersey, and the daughter of Joseph Kearns and Caroline Capoano (nee Kearns), both natives of New Jersey. She graduated from Union Hill High School in Union City and worked in various administrative positions, including one at the Kaywoodie Pipe Company in Union City, when she was young. Her main occupation and vocation was a homemaker. She lived in Cliffside Park for nearly 65 years, up until July of this year. Funeral from McCorry Brothers, 780 Anderson Ave., Cliffside Park, NJ, on Saturday, August 10, at 9:15 a.m. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. John's Church, Fairview, at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, NJ. Visiting hours on Friday, from 4-8 p.m. at McCorry Brothers.
