My mother Ruth Rappenecker Johnson grew up with Rosemary in Heidelberg. She just found her obituary and at 93 her memory is not so good. It was quite the shock to see her gone. Her fondest memory of Rosemary was monthly calls to each other. Mother has never forgotten Rosemary and Felix. It’s amazing to me growing up hearing about their long term friendship that survived so many world travisity.

I had the pleasure of working with Rose at A&P for a few years she worked in Starbucks, our store had the Starbucks inside, I did not work in Starbucks but would always see her when I came to work when she was there. I also would see her when she worked at Burger King before it closed up. She touched so many lives and will be missed by everyone including all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as her husband and other family members. She lived a good long life but no one was expecting it to end this way. I wish I could come to the wake and funeral but have work and just busy with other things but my thoughts and prayers are with the the entire family during this very difficult and solemn time. I watched the Memorial Video and enjoyed all the photos of her with the entire family. My best during this very difficult and solemn time. Happy Holidays! Charlie- A&P now Acme
